Bracelet With Nice Stone

It's none school uniform day at my son's school today and i feel awful as i didn't read his school letter properly and i've sent him in his uniform. He's got another one next week too for national book week so i'll make it up to him then and make sure he has the best costume. The guilt of a mother, it's a terrible thing.

Were going to look at a house on sunday in southport, i'm looking forwards to moving as it means i get my own craft room yey!

Bet you will all be board with these pendants soon lol, i am planning on making some more jewellery and cards. In fact i have a order for 10 driving test cards so i'll have to get on with them. Also the beads up north fair os on at haydock on sunday so i'll be going there and getting loads of new beads which will hopefully come with lots of inspiration.

more lampwork

yesterday i showed you the polka dot earrings i had made from the lampwork beads bought at beads up north. I have made a couple more pieces and i only have 2 beads left now. I love these they are sterling silver with swarovski crystals.

I made this necklace with another lampie, it's pink and purple glass beads with tibetan silver spacers. The necklace is made up of purple suede.

glass pendants

I've been messing with my micro kiln again, i thought i might aswell use it till it breaks as i have a sneeky feeling my hubby has bought my a proper kiln for my birthday tomorrow. I'm thinking of opening another shop on MISI just for my glass creations and also another website. I'm still thinking about it but i will let you know what i do. So this is what i made yesterday i've called this one sunny side up because it reminds me of a fried egg lol.

mermaid charm bracelet

I made this bracelet about a week ago, i love making themed charm bracelets.
It features mermaids, fish, turtles and dolphins with blue and green glass beads on a silver plated bracelet.
I've just booked another craft fair for august and i'm allowed to take my cards aswell as my jewellery this time. The cards didn't do to well last year but i think mine are a different style to which the lady was selling and hopefully i will sell a few.

purple lampwork bracelet

I made this bracelet a few days ago, i really like the lampwork bead which i have used as the focal point. I got 2 of them but wasn't sure what to do with them as being handmade they were slightly different sizes.

another new bracelet

I made this bracelet today along with another and a hello kitty childrens necklace. It's quite chunky and i really like the colours.

I have opened up another shop on misi today selling my cards only. I was adding them to my jewellery shop but there were getting to be more cards than jewellery so i thought it would be the best option. I don't know how it's going to go yet but it's worth giving it a shot.

I was also interviewed for someone's else blog, pennydog makes fantastic resin jewellery, i really love her style.

cherry quartz

I made this bracelet yesterday, it is the semi precious gemstone cherry quartz with tibetan silver spacers and toggle. I think out of all the gemstones this is my favourite. I also made the earrings to match. Both are available on my website.

My stomach is a bit sore this morning, i managed to run a mile yesterday in training for the race for life. I don't know why my stomach is sore and my legs are pertfectly fine, it's strange?

My husband woke me up when he came to bed last night to tell me that micheal jackson had died. I think it is sad, i was never really a fan but he was only 50 and it seemed like he was never truly happy.

flutterby butterfly

I made these earrings a couple of days ago, i love butterfly things but to be honest i'm petrified of the real things and have often embarassed myself by running away screaming from them.

My husband thinks i'm mad as i also have a tattoo of a butterfly.

Where going to look for houses again today, hopefully i can persued OH to swing past the range on the way as i tried knitting again last night and i have got the hang of it but i think the needles are a bit to big and i'd like to get some smaller ones. I hope they sell them there, i know they do card making and cross stitch stuff so fingers crossed.

playgroup

Took my daughter to playgroup today, it's only the second time we have been and it was empty. Which is good because my daughter is not a people person! There were 4 other children there but they all got on with there own little thing. It was good for her and she really enjoyed it so we'll be going back again next week.

I made this necklace yesterday, it's brown and amber glass beads. I quite like it i have listed it on my website but i just have to decide which of my 3 shops to list it in now.

summertime

well i'm glad the sun has decided to show it's face today, it has been really hot but looking like it's going to rain??? so i'm glad it's sunny today as i can hang my washing out to dry :-).

business cards

I ordered some business cards this morning from moo cards, i usually print my own off but thought it would look more professional to get them done for me. This necklace and earring set is one of the images i used for the reverse of the cards.

It's one of my favourite pieces i have made and is sterling silver with rose quartz and hemitite.

So much for my quite weekend away some idiot decided to have a party last night and they were pratting about till 5am this morning. i'm not a happy bunny!

sterling silver :

I don't make many sterling silver piece's as i never know how to price it. It's hard enough to price costume jewellery and even then i'm being told it's too cheap and thats why it's not selling because people think if it's that cheap then it can't be good quality.

But it is lol. Anyhow i have made a few sterling pieces over the last couple of days and here is one of my favourties. They feature starfish shaped swarovski crystals and i love them. They are available on my website with all of my other pieces i have made.

best candy

What a last couple of days i've had! My son wen to school in fancy dress on friday as a dinosaur, he looks really good but fell over on the adventure playground and hurt him foot. It was 3 o clock and we were already packed to go to wales and waiting to pick him up from school when we got the call to come and get him so we went straight there. He couldn't really walk on his foot on saturday but it just looked badly bruised so we didn't take him the hospital. (he could wiggle his toes so knew nothing was broken). So we went for a drive, never again, DD screamed most of the time and then DS was travel sick yuk!

sunday we came home but had to make a detour into SIL as it's was her son's birthday, we didn't stay long!

Yesterday i had to go shopping for clothes for DD birthday on wednesday, couldn't find any shoes to fit her anywhere aswell as DS limping round (his foot is much better) and DD throwing herself on the floor every other second. Also i think £12 for 2 pieces of cheese on toast and a cup of tea from marks and spencers cafe is a complete rip off! Also had to go back out to take the fancy dress costume back the shop, DD again screamed most of the journey.

another fair tomorrow

I have a craft fair tomorrow, not sure what to make of it yet. The lady who i booked the table with said it was a new venture and they were having trouble getting people through the door and to tell as many people as i knew. So i put posts up on a couple of the forums i use telling them about the craft fair. The thing is i got a email from someone who has had a table at 2 of the previous fairs and she said that they don't have anyone going because they don't advertise. They promised to advertise this one and haven't. It seems they hope word of mouth will be enough, which i doubt very much it will be so i'll let you know how it goes.

new week

Well it's a new week and i started with every intention of doing my best to promote my website and shops. I have spent the last hour trying to list new items on my website but each time i try to save them i get logged out and it doesn't save :-(. It's getting very frustrating as i can't promote what isn't listed on my website. I have sent a email to the people who make my website asking them to fix it but i got an automated message saying it could take 24hours for a reply. I hope it won't be that long as the kids are off school and my time is limited.

Anyhow this cute little duck bracelet is one of the items i'm trying to list along with a elephant. There so cute and are bell charms, i love them.

new jewellery piece

Here is a picture of one of the pieces that i made with some of my 'stock' i got from the bead fair i went to on sunday. I love the lampwork bead and think the dark red really shows it off.

I also had a play about with my new hello kitty die cutter yesterday and made 1 birthday card and another kitty to make a christmas card. I'm expecting some more card making bits in the post today as i noticed lili of the valley were having a sale and raided there site lol. I also ordered some halloween stamps from a different site so hopefully they'll come today too.

boys jewellery :

I think it is pretty hard to design boys jewellery, the last boys necklace i made was bought for a girl??? I made this elasticated bracelet a few days ago it was initially for halloween but i have listed it under boys jewellery on my website. I have also made the matching necklace but i haven't got round to listing that yet.

I have made a girl one using clear crystals instead of black beads which has turned out ok. I've also been making other halloween jewellery and i've made one card so far so pop along to for a nosy.

neglect :

Sorry i haven't blogged for what feels like a life time but i rarely get a minute to myself. In between flitting from home to the caravan every couple of days and trying to make new stock and list it aswell as keeping the kids entertained. it's hard work!

Anyhow this is my first mens necklace i have made, i haven't listed it on my website as i'd have to make a new page and i just don't have the time to do it at the moment. Once the kids are back in school i'll sort it out.

I have some good news to i was laft a comment on my facebook page from a lady who is the editor of a north wales magazine which tells you whats on in the area and she loves my new halloween range and wants to put some pictures in the magazine, how great is that! i'm over the moon.

halloween

On the run up to halloween i will be featuring my halloween pieces on my blog. I have already featured a halloween charm bracelet, boys black skull bracelet and a girls halloween card so today is the turn of these cuties. They are lampwork bats on silver plated earwires. I think they are fab!

Other news is i have just got back from the hair dressers and feel about a stone lighter after getting my hair finally cut. I would take a photo but don't want to scare you all away as i am not photogenic lol.

turn up for the books

So remember a couple of posts ago when i was moaning about lack of sales well.... in the last few days i have had 2 misi sales and been contacted by 2 different ladies asking to supply my jewellery in there shops! To say that i'm happy is an understatement. I'll keep you up to date with how it is going :-).

So to carry on with the halloween theme i have made this skeleton bracelet with orange and black glass beads. It is featured under the boys jewellery section of my website .

lampwork heaven

So i have uploaded 3 of my latest pieces, i have gone a bit potty lately for lampwork beads and 2 of the necklaces feature some of the beads i have bought. The first is a purple and red focal with red lampwork spacers and purple glass beads. I think the colours work well together.
